Some sweet high-res photos have surfaced on the web of Zagato’s Coachbuilt Maserati Gransport Spyder. Please take note: the correct spelling of GRANsport. It is NOT GRANDsport or GRANDturismo, there is no “D”. It doesn’t seem that anyone over at WindingRoad.com ever bother to fully check their homework assignments for simple errors. Shame on you for insulting Maserati, as well as your integrity as an automotive journalist. On another note, I have observed other ridiculous amateur automotive fallacies from time to time which include spelling a Ferrari Spider as Spyder: Maserati spells it with a “Y”, and Ferrari spells it with a “I”. Finally, please address the Enzo as an “Enzo Ferrari”, not the other way around. Capiche?
Please enjoy these pictures of this modified Maserati GransSport commissioned by Paulo Boffi; a well-known entrepreneur in the furnishing and luxury design sector. This car is an homage to the 1954 Maserati A6 G Zagato.
These pictures were taken over the weekend (April 20-22, 2007) at the Concours d’Elegance Villa d’Este in Cernobbio, Italy.
Going forward, if you want to be taken seriously, please remember the proper spellings:
Maserati GranSport, GranTurismo, Spyder, Coupé
Ferrari F355, 360, F430, Spider
